A private certifier firm was losing hours on every job to repetitive manual work. Drawing schedules had to be built by hand from title blocks spread across hundreds of pages, certificate data was re-keyed between systems, and DA conditions were copied and categorised manually.

Drawing packages arrived as unsorted ZIPs that had to be opened and classified one file at a time, work that consumed a full-time admin role and still left compliance gaps between consent and certificate.

Whitecrow originally designed and built Type It end to end for a single private certifier, a complete document processing platform that reads drawing title blocks across any format, pulling numbers, titles, revisions, dates and disciplines from architectural, structural, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, fire and civil drawings.

It generates fully formatted CC, OC and CDC certificates with drawing data already populated, exported to Word with tables sorted and council-ready formatting. Entire drawing packages are classified by discipline from a single ZIP upload, and everything runs on Australian infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.

The firm decided to partner with Whitecrow to take TypeIt to market, it's now used by 70+ certifiers across Australia and growing every month.
